Anyway, the stardom PPV this weekend should be great

Cody having an external crisis over hitting Cena with the belt annoyed me more than the Travis Scott thing. Way to make your babyface champion look like an idiot.

 

Brodie Jr winning the Clusterfuck may have been one of the best moments of the week

Instead of that one singular moment make that the story of the match. Cody does the good guy thing twice and it works, then Cena builds moment doing heel shit and pushes Cody to doing the heel turn and boom Cena counters with an AA and finishes it. Tells Cody stick to being the face, you can't be a heel, it'll cost you everything.

 

I popped so loud in my living room my wife thought I got hurt lmao. Of course my bootleg stream froze the second the match started but it sounds like I didn't miss much.

 

Suggest giving NXT Stand and Deliver a watch for those who haven’t. Now I can definitely say it felt like the B&G Takeover days where NXT outshined WM.

 

I'm interested to see where they go starting tonight.

 

I second the Stand & Deliver recommendation.

They should've consolidated the good Mania matches into one night and had Stand & Deliver be the main show Saturday at a normal time and WWE would've had a solid weekend.

 

I think the NXT triple threat is my favorite WWE match this weekend, followed by Sky/Belair/Ripley.

Over/under may 1st for becky/Lyra tag belts. I think this was an obvious last second switch for the sake of the show having more surprises and they went "eh lets ask Becky if she wants to come back for a few weeks".

I may be wrong but I wouldn't be surprised to see liv get the tag belts back in a matter of weeks.

 

I have a month of NXT episodes to catch-up on. Vaquer is still double champ where I'm at now lol.

 

Looks like Masha Slamovich takes home the workhorse award with 10 matches in three days.

 

OR bigger surprise and Tatum and Gigi take the titles tomorrow on NXT

 

I guess it hit me more since it was on the big stage but TKO has no clue on how to present professional wrestling

 

Dom is a gem

 

From what I've read the initial plan was to have this team be the duo and they pivoted away from it only to swerve back. It's pretty shit storytelling.

Jey/Gunther, Fatu/Knight, Tiffy/Charlotte, Seth/Punk/Roman, Iyo/Bianca/Rhea, Drew/Priest, IC 4 way, Cena/Cody

Easily an 8/10 card.

 

Knight Fatu was decent

 

Both triple threats made both shows watchable. Carried the entire show both nights on those two matches.

 

i personally think Drew/Priest is a highlight as well, that was a well paced asskicking

 

Stone Cold and Undertaker turning up at PLEs to just drive around the ring is insane. Either do something good with them or don’t get them in. Just dilutes their brands.

They already seem to be repeating the same types of things each year now. It always feels a bit like they’re on the cusp of something and then it just stalls.

 

Favorite matches: triple threat main event, women’s triple threat, 4-way IC title, Drew/Damian
