Not offensively bad but a very very very mediocre mania across the board. Main event was bad. I'm sorry I hated that so much

Im a huge Becky mark but that felt flat too (mostly because the actual in ring match was average at best)

Highlight was a light spot with Joe Hendry and a great women's triple to start the show and a solid ic triple. But none of that saves this from being a bottom 10 mania. Not the overall worst just a ton of stuff no one cares about and a mania main event that evidently sucked worse than anyone could have imagined.

Pro wrestling is far from cooked. This mania had some really good stuff in spots and AEW just put on one of the best Dynamites ever. I think we will have a pretty great year ahead of us with All In and WWE having at least a few stories of interest. I will say I’m not looking forward to a 2 night Summerslam at all lol

 

Thought she was pretty good, especially for someone who hasn’t wrestled in a year.

Kind of crazy to hear HHH say he told Hendry basically there’s more manias for him to come when he’s not even under contract. Is that not some kind of tampering

 

The Rock not showing and Stone Cold being the inflated numbers hype man was weird as hell.

Besides the match, I think Cena is making all the right moves as a heel. He’s blaming the fans. No Titan Tron or pageantry. All of his moves were slow so he wasn’t necessarily being a crowd pleaser (even though the crowd was still on his side.)

The Travis Scott stuff just sucks all the air out of the room. He doesn’t even have personality like someone like Bad Bunny and he’s somehow less of a physical threat in the ring than Snoop Dogg.

The WWE/TNA deal is for 3 or so years I think, so it’s easy enough to wave that line away by saying he was talking about that

 

Still buzzing about Joe Hendry. That pop was huge and the crowd all singing along to his theme was so so good. That’s what wrestling is all about, that joy.

 

Bad Bunny immediately showed aptitude or at least an eagerness to get in the mix. the fact Travis hasn't spoken a word or done anything other than the botched slap makes me think they know they do not have a Bad Bunny here. i am sure the man is a performer enough to justify his fame but less than zero of it translates to wrestling and he looks like a make a wish kid in pjs next to the wrestlers

 

It just bothers me that for Cena's 17th there was no huge celebration (due to heel) even though its pure wrestling history, but when Cody won last year there was a 20 minute celebration with the entire locker room coming down. Cena deserved better for this moment. That's why I feel like he shouldn't have won it as a heel.

 

This is A+
