I do think Dom as IC champ is the right move

 

Dom/Bronn is such an obvious quick feud for Backlhas, and slightly slow-burning the Finn turn on him til right after that match and thats the summer program.

 

Why did that goober have the Hardcore title? Has he just been carrying that around for some reason or was that the first time he showed up with it?

 

32 is the only Mania I attended and I can attest that it was pretty bad

Dom winning is definitely the best thing. Switch last nights main event with tonight and it would’ve been a pretty solid show.

 

Dom IC champ and Fatu as US champ. Pretty solid midcard.

what does this guy have to do with anything at all? I do t get why WWE does this when there are guys they could develop into these roles that could really use the push

 

My boomer wrestling fan dad was really confused why Travis Scott was being called Cactus Jack

 

32 was the worst Mania for sure since I came back (so, WM31-41). IC ladder match was the only worthwhile thing on the card...and the 2nd best match was Shane/Taker, which might have been MOTN had it been 10mins shorter

WM34 probably not far behind (Charlotte ending Asukas streak, Brock inexplicably beating Roman and holding the title hostage, some odd ass gimmicky stuff elsewise). WM35, had they not fallen assbackwards into Becky and Kofi, might have been all-time bad too

 

32 definitely bad. I don’t think this one was thaaat bad

Mediocre mania. The two night formula just doesn’t work especially when half of the matches don’t have long term builds. I’d prefer one 6 hour card over 2 four hour cards. The amount of filler really kills the vibe. I don’t see them ever going back though considering the amount they make from doing the 2nd night.

 

Yeah I was one of the ones that thought 2 nights would be good, especially because I went to a few manias and they just felt entirely too long. But watching at home 2 nights is terrible. I was wrong

 

At least there was no Trump

 

god damn, man.

the women's triple threat made me feel things wrestling hasn't made me feel in a very long time. the match finished and i was so positively overwhelmed that tears filled my eyes.

and then the show progressively got weirder, and weirder, and it all culminated in that insanely half-baked, over-booked main event. i'm starting to feel like i'm losing interest in pro wrestling, and i'm desperate to feel the way i felt when the night started. i don't know, man. such an odd feeling.

 

My interest has been intermittent too, I can’t seem to generate anything for AEW lately. But maybe this is a good shuffle, Cody’s run was getting really dull. Heel seth and all the aftermath should be fun

 

so that's the other thing, seth is one of my favorite wrestlers of all time. the triple threat and its ending gave me a lot of hope for the future that balanced out the negatives of night one for me. now to be dealt the opposite with tonight is a really strange feeling for me.

and yes, i second your thoughts about AEW. i love so much of the roster but the main event scene being as Not Great as it is right now (hoping ospreay fixes that at all in) makes me so apathetic towards it.

 

Still, seeing a heel Cena win a title at mania is really cool, never thought I’d see it. Match was clunky, but how could it not have been.
