watched it this morning, great show

 

Okay so update on me wanting to try to get into AEW, I watched the Dynamite Spring Breakthru and the episode from last week and thoroughly enjoyed both, I already knew I loved Darby from different matches/clips I've seen but that match with Tommaso was fucking insane

Also immediately jumping out to me are MJF, who I think is amazing at playing his character lol, and Will Ospreay who blew me away in his match. Really excited to keep watching this now and get to know more, I did like Moxley and Edge back in the day (always enjoyed Jericho too) so excited to see them

 

I keep telling myself I want to get back into AEW but it seems kind of daunting. Kinda like jumping into an old comic book run. But I think in reality right now I don’t have much time for wrestling and have just been keeping up mainly here and Reddit and clips.

 

Dynamite/Collision are my Monday morning work soundtrack usually.

 

Thing is, it’s like 70% PWG still. The show is the match quality. Even Darby winning the belt..I had heard the rumors and scoffed…and then he opened the show with an epic promo and was ready to run through a damn wall 2 hours later

 

Speaking of which. Dude wasn’t in AEW 3 months ago, and after a WM level match on weekly TV, he cuts this backstage

The Daddy Magic version of this is still a peak AEW promo, but fuck me if Ciampa didn’t make “Goldie/Silvie” hit home when it’s the thing his daughter loves

 

What Ospreay is doing right now, legit as a decade long watcher of his, feels like they’re about to tell an Okada/Omega level story. You couldn’t have told me will would straight up lose a match to Mark Davis within a month of being back…and then they dropped that death rider angle

 

Just snagged tickets for the first set of MLP TV tapings. Only $32 GA for both days.

 

90 days should be long enough before the Detroit shows

 

If they do end up in AEW I wonder how much they will get as opposed to what was offered to them when they picked WWE over them

 

Sucks we gotta wait, but that Detroit crowd would be perfect for them.

Yeah it'll be interesting to see if we get details on the amount. I don't think it would be as much since it's no longer a bidding "war" but he'll do a price that ensures he gets them. They are worth paying.....it'll definitely be good seeing them in the tag scene!

At this point I wouldn't be surprised if Trips is purposely punishing those who have come over who don't have "it" like Cody and Punk.
