They're not gonna do it mid-tournament (in part cause the CC cant have interference/ring-side stuff), but I agree they'll pull the trigger at Worlds End.

 

Man, its so incredible that there are simply no bad matchups in this Continental Classic. Every single combination of wrestlers is a match that gets a hell yeah, some bigger than others but always at least a modest hell yeah.

 

I know, I know. I'm just impatient and want to see what the fallout brings.

pac/okada was great. loved the finish.
ironic: i'm finally beginning to like the death riders and they're about to get blown up.

kingston is right: eddie now is who joe WAS in wrestling.
joe's promos would get you riled up, fired up.
now he's doin cheap heat like talkin bad about the cities.
kingston comes across like he means every word he says, and yeah i'd go to war for eddie too.

 

i am honestly pretty tired of Eddie's shtick. feels like he is doing the same "i need this to believe in myself" stuff and i guess i hoped after the triple crown and the Danielson feud he would change that aspect of his game a little.

best c2 so far though, hope Darby is alright to finish the block out. i think Pac/Speedball is my highlight but its close.

 

eddie is sadly washed in the ring (don't shoot the messenger, i LOVE eddie kingston) but he's still probably the best in the world on the mic

kyle fletcher might be the best in the world rn

 

i really hope the BABES OF WRATH win the tag belts next week. toni storm is too good to be in a team with mina full time IMO

he was fun to root for when he's an obvious pipsqueak babyface who has a killer submission bc Taz is his dad, but as a heel its like who is this fucking munchkin man. i can suspend disbelief all day long but him as a heel moves not a single emotion in my entire body.

Dax had an IG post maybe a month ago or something where after he was in the ring with Kevin knight he told Tony that Kevin is the future of AEW and needs to be heavily invested in.

edit: he specifically cited his ring psychology, always being in the right position at the right time and his freakish athleticism.

 

used to think Okada had one of the best drop kicks in the game but Knight is giving him a run for his money.

MJF also got himself the joke entrance spot by holding Tony hostage a couple years back. Tony said he needed it to be known a week in advance so he could hype the match...if MJF's already announced as the main event, then, the match is hyped.

I dunno, dozen different ways to get there, but MJF works best as the devious shit heel who gets away with that kinda stuff
