The amount of corporate bullshit in WWE these days is what really turns me off

Yep. It’s just so bland and fake when it comes to the constant advertising. Might be good marketing, but it makes being a wrestling fan seem really soulless.

Kind of weirdly makes it feel more like an actual professional sport, in some ways

 

Man this is some of the worst vibes I've felt for a Mania in awhile.

I’d say that if it didn’t feel so inorganic compared to the wrestling advertisements we all grew up with.

I was considering going to the Smackdown next week but given how bloated these PPVs feel with ads and dead time I don't know if I could do a TV taping for the TKO era of WWE.

It feels so weird to me that this past year or show is when WWE's popularity has somehow broken through because it definitely feels like a soulless product to me, enough to put me off from matches and talent I should be on board with

 

I know it isn’t for me…but I have absolutely hated every second of this up until Gunther came out lol

Just thinking about how white hot I thought this was gonna be when we got the Cena turn and they've somehow managed to cool me off in a big way between pr gaffes and bad builds.

Yet I'm here watching I guess.

 

Guess these complaints seem weird since I don't post in here very much, but I swear I'm keeping up with wrestling guys

 

Well most WWE fans love the entrances and don’t care for wrestling so yeah it’s not for us. For me, WWE is like going to a concert for a band I like 4/5 songs from but sitting through a 2 hour set to hear them with all of the BS dead time between matches.
