Love that there was not a single surprise.

 

I’ll watch here and there but haven’t really gone out of my way to see anything. Nor have I watched an entire show of anything. Saw a little bit of Wrestlepalooza, what I did see wasn’t the worst. I’ve even given up on NXT at this point. That being said it still hasn’t drawn me over to AEW. There’s just been a void in my wrestling consumption

It became really apparent after WM40 that they had no long-term plan for much of anything, and with how badly they botched the Cena heel turn, even their top card carrying them fell through.

And the Brock stuff was the jump the shark moment. Bringing him back as a surprise for the Saudi Rumble is gross...but its the Saudi rumble...its already gross. But doing it to set up a Cena match while using Cenas retirement to put absolutely nobody over is wildly irresponsible.
