she ended up being a great character. that's what i remember most about her. not the wrestling. not at all.

 

AJ was sloppy a decent amount of the time but she had her moments. Definitely preferred her promos

 

It would have been interesting to see how AJ would have evolved once the women’s roster became more talented. Her biggest strength was her selling. She was a very entertaining character, not trying to hate on her at all. But I think she’s definitely overhyped. Kinda like Punk lol

 

I mean, the few matches I saw of hers, she reminded me of a clunkier Alexa Bliss in the ring. And Alexa definitely stands out as slower/more obvious in her matches compared to the current crop of women, but still 2-3 levels better than any Divas era stuff I saw.

Probably also helps to have a husband actively working and not have a media heavy career like Nikki that might prevent proper training.

 

Vince McMahon’s birthday party. It was supposed to be kept secret, but of course it wasn’t...Jelly Roll performed. Vince wore a producer’s headset because evidently he misses his job in wrestling so much with all the wrestlers around.
