Watching last night's stardom show and man, Lady C has like...the worst gear. She used to have really good gear a few years ago.

Eddie update. Just bought a new house with a pool which means he's officially rich.

 

So, thats actually his spinning falcon arrow but I cant tell if ZSJ didnt spin enough or Takeshita came down too vertical.

 

It looks like he was trying the old El Generico brainbuster but missed the buckle. A similar thing happened in his match with Ospreay.

 

Legit no idea what EVIL was even doing winning that block when they had 3 of their 30ish year old young guys who all should have taken the top 3 spots (or shit, put Oleg in the semis over EVIL)

 

The people LOVE Evil, I think he's been shit since the split with Sanada. Him winning the G1 is gonna suck

 

They already tried running Evil as a main eventer, didn't work. I rather Takeshita win.

 

Takeshita SHOULD win, dude clears Evil by a mile, a nautical mile even

 

Lol, went back and looked for ZSJ/Evil matches, and in the 2024 and 2022 G1's, their combined match time was less than 60 seconds. They havent had a >15min match since 2019, and never gotten above 4*. He's on one of the worst streaks of matches any major competitor has ever had. They're gonna have to pray that Tana's final WK saves ticket sales if its ZSJ v Evil

 

Sami Callihan retired on it

 

I think my favorite Sami moment was that 60 minute Iron Man against Adam Cole he had at PWG in Reseda. At one point Sami was so gassed out outside the ring that the fans literally picked him up and carried back to the ring like he was Jesus or something. Never seen a moment in wrestling like that again.

 

You'd think that would had been advertised a bit better. Oh well.

 

What I'll remember most about Sami Callihan was his godawful finisher when he was in NXT

 

It was really bad

 

Callihan had some bangers during his feud with Penta in TNA. Sadly injuries really derailed him the last few years.

Evil being anywhere near the finals of the G1 is insane.

Also all the clips I've seen from TripleMania on twitter looked pretty bad, but hellooo roxanne, that is my only takeaway
