there are guys and gals in TNA i wanna see do well but this partnership has absolutely tanked any interest i had in either TNA or NXT, two weak rosters diluting the absolute shit out of each other. the TNA card for tonight has Slater vs Cedric in the "here's the good match" slot, TNA ppvs should be nothing but good matches and the worst shit you've ever seen and little between.

That's what I don't get; what does this partnership do for TNA that hasn't already been done? They've been doing this talent exchange thing since last year and it hasn't benefited TNA in the slightest other than getting a few of their people in the Rumble (and Jordynne Grace went to NXT as soon as she could). Both of their top titles are held by NXT wrestlers, their roster is mostly WWE mid-card castoffs like AJ Francis, Ali, and Elijah or aging stars like Cardona, Nemeth, and the Hardys, and anytime the WWE sends talent over, the TNA side is eating the pin.

All I see happening is the WWE buying TNA, putting them head to head with AEW, and running them (TNA, not AEW) out of business in a year.

This makes the ESPN PLE deal even more insane. They need to be doing 900k subscribers (every month for the whole year) just to break even on that thing, and if RAW can barely draw that on Netflix, aint no way they're getting it for $30/pop on ESPN

Imagine building this company for 20 years, surviving Hulk Hogan, Bischoff and Russo, having some of the greatest wrestlers that ever live on your programs and then having a guy from another organization's development division be your world champ. So fucking embarrassing.

 

Its like 10-fold funnier than this though. Its the Matt Hardy of his tag team, who's holding the belt precisely because the actually over dude in the company has a deal that lets him train with WWE and talk with WWE people and basically pre-negotiate his WWE deal; and so instead of putting the belt on him because he's probably going to WWE, its gonna spend like a year around the waist of an actual WWE dude.

I assume Trick drops it to someone at Bound for Glory and TNA does their thing from there, but, learning nothing from the Jordynne Grace process is truly hilarious

 

Especially with the news of the past week, really shows what they think of TNA and their "value".
