That promo Adam Cole cut on him in NXT is still spot on. Presented well, cool music, looks good, beautiful wife as a manager etc but then the bell rings and he’s shit from a butt

 

Only way survivor series works as two nights is if they have the war games match go a full 24 hours

 

Sami couldn’t even carry him to a good match and they knew it backstage, that match was so short.

 

Goes to show priorities though. He gets engagement on his social media so he gets a summerslam match

 

Character work and promos are important too. I didn't care one lick about the 6 tag ladder bs match

 

There’s nothing that Kross gives you that you can’t get from Aleister Black.

I’m glad I’ve watched WWE nearly exclusively through YouTube & Twitter clips and recaps for the last like 7 years.

 

In pro wrestling you can get away with sucking at promos/using the mic and being very good in the ring, you can't get away with being great at promos and sucking ass in the ring. As far as becoming an upper tier guy, of course the latter exists but its always mid carders at best.

 

Have you watched NXT lately? The promos are the same. They all sound like they were written by chat GPT, regardless of the wrestler doing them.

I watched a few minutes last week and you have that Jevon guy who is the coolest mfer but he speaks like a totally different person. There is 0 authenticity and that's what they are pushing for.

 

A month ago every one was obsessed with R Truth. He isn't even involved in a program right now.
