How much did they promote that Netflix doc on Raw tonight? I bet a lot.

 

i liked Unreal, ultimately this kind of thing will always be interesting to me and there are more interesting nuggets than i would've expected. i don't think i'll care nearly as much about future seasons since the current storylines are truly dismal outside of the Raw women and SD tag scenes, but it is interesting to see a big heel turn come together

i can't think of a less appealing Summerslam card in the last 20 years or so, i'd be bummed if i paid two nights of WM prices for this

Also they confirm in this the original pitch for the men's rumble was Punk winning and them doing Punk/Gunther at Mania before they pivoted to Jey.

 

enjoying unreal just because I like that backstage stuff and seeing the real life personas of the wrestlers too

 

Can’t suspend my disbelief to watch a scripted show pretending to show the unscripted backstage planning of another scripted show.

Maybe if they do a 2nd season with HHH convincing Punk to go suck some blood money dick or fake pander to pretend to give a shit about Hogan I’d watch lol

 

gunther vs punk should be good IMO

 

Its sad, because the original WWE bts stuff was so good; the WWE24/365/chronicles, etc were all awesome and while even some of that was clearly scripted/character based, it at least wasnt creating an alternate universe where WWE did no wrong.

Would have been amazing, honestly. Would also be an incredible way to get a shitheel character like Chelsea over as a face....she just goes on a tangent about how she deserves it and then sets about proving it by taking a bunch of matches and winning them leading up to WM. Hell, make the womens chamber for her WM contract.

Probably a smart pivot since it cemented Jey as a singles guy

Watching last nights Raw, and man I really hate Naomi’s heel character.

 

House show they did it at was really good, I'm expecting it to hold up.
