Deserved jokes aside, I do have a good deal of sympathy for the kids, particularly Brooke, who I'm sure is going to be experiencing some pretty complex traumatic grief.

Having lost my father a few years ago in a not totally dissimilar situation, though on a significantly smaller scale (he was very well known in the community, heavily respected by virtually everyone but was very much a different person at home), I don't envy her having to begin working through all of that. I still have people approach me in public to this day who will be like "aren't you ____'s son? What a wonderful guy, we miss him" and I have to be like "heh, yeaaaah."

 

Doesn't help that Brooke last saw him in 2023, either.

 

The one they are running in Chicago is 1200 people I think? I'd bet 2300 Arena is similar size.
