I think maybe they are smart enough to realize Jade isnt ready, or even within the ballpark of ready...and if you run a Summerslam match that Naomi cashes in on, you force a Jade/Naomi title feud that neither can carry. Let Jade get the PPV win, Naomi gets the title...if Jade somehow magically gets better, you can make that a Rumble->WM feud...but more likely you put Bianca over her at some point

Also, last time Rollins rushed a return he was out again for months...he's almost certainly either vacating that MITB contract or passing it off to Bronn as part of the Heyman group.

Keeping him as MITB champ would be a "wait til Statlander returns 9 months from now to dethrone Jade" level fumble

 

Fun cash in, was nice to be actually surprised!

all signs pointed to her cashing in after Jade wins, so it truly got me.

The cynical side of me wonders if they rushed this due to the Seth injury so that they could have a good headline coming out of the weekend

 

Felt like a last minute decision for the cash-in. I know nothing so maybe it was planned all along but it didn’t feel like it. Sucks Iyo had to drop the title but I’m really enjoying this Naomi heel run and she deserves it imo

 

Almost as entertaining as Kairi and Asuka dancing to all the theme songs

 

Keep hearing weird things from Meltzdaddy and based god Bryan Alvarez about Rollins


Basically, they are hearing he was injured before the match happened, a more minor injury than an ACL injury, and the injury in the match WAS a work, so I guess the idea is he will have a surprise cash in a few months in the future because everyone is expecting him to be out for a year because they think its definitely a ACL injury.


Idk, it's not even confirmed it's just interesting to hear them make it clear they are not 100% sure he definitely shredded his knee up bad again.

 

I read that this morning and laughed quite a bit.
