I was super bummed when Ospreay lost the Owen, even if I liked Hangman a ton, but man last night would not of hit half as hard with Ospreay getting that pin in the main event.

Hangman was absolutely perfect in that match and I think it blasted him to a new stratosphere of star and that is really exciting.

Having that Ospreay run in your backpocket is incredible for the future of AEW as well. I really wonder if they turn him heel, I dont think you should but with Mox presumably gone for a while (no idea if thats the case but I would assume) they need a top heel.

 

If Ospreay won the Owen we also wouldn’t have had one of the best matches of the night in that EVP match. It all works out.

 

Seth probably needs to completely change his wrestling style and take out the high flying at this point

 

Yeah I think its clear he has to and he knows more than anyone else, he can still get mega over and be a top guy without all the flippy flips.

He works pretty stiff, but isnt quite as fluid/clean as Ospreay or Hangman or those dudes who work like that. So, not surprised he ultimately hurt a guy. But...Cole 100% is injury prone because he's just working a high impact style on a small frame. Damn shame the ankle injury happened though, because at least they could have paid off one big story with him in AEW.

Had the same thought. Absolutely hate it for Seth, but what he did after WM40 probably didnt help. Rushed back after the MCL, then got written off again for 3 months, and then did Chamber/Cage Match/MITB in a 3 months span that probably didnt help either.

Sucks since he was clearly either gonna beat Gunther or be the guy to dethrone Cena

 

I kinda feel like Goldberg was going to win and retire at Smackdown in San Antonio since he lives right outside now. Glad he didn’t win. Pretty good send off for him too.

 

I didn’t catch the event but this is really fucking cool

 

Finished NXT GAB now. Sol/Izzi was clunky but the rest was good. Ethan/Ricky was definitely the highlight.

 

Kinda hope they have Monroe screw Grace in the match tonight or something. She's such a natural heel, nothing about her screams babyface to me lol

 

I think the girls will show out tonight. I prefer Iyo but I think Rhea needs to win

 

In no world does Rhea NEED to win the title again… but that’s just me.

 

They aren’t doing anything with that title sadly. At least it would be a signature moment for the PPV. She could drop it again soon but maybe it would start something new for the title.

On the flip side, like I said yesterday I haven’t seen any wrestling in 6-7 weeks so I have no fucking idea what’s going on

 

Probably gonna be Rhea because they have done nothing with Iyo post WM. I'd like to be wrong though

 

Just sad that they haven’t done anything with Iyo when she’s one of the best wrestlers they have and feel the need to put it back on Rhea just to make it relevant.
