Of all the excitement, as much as I loved the whole card I am pretty disappointed in the choice to put the TNT title on Dustin.

 

This Moxley championship run was whack from the bits that I saw but holy hell did he sell/work his ass off in that match. He was fucking tremendous.


Especially that ending, the violent/panicked jerking around with the chain around his neck was just out of this world and something I will always remember.

 

Deathriders run definitely wasn’t the best, but they nailed it the last few months and hit a home run for the blow off.

 

Same, although I think Tony's reasoning in the scrum is to celebrate how Dustin spent so much of his career ON the TNT network and it "coming home" kinda makes sense. I seriously doubt he'll be the champ for long tho.

 

Agreed on both. While I wasn't the biggest fan it absolutely made Hangman the guy to root for, he was the guy to get behind to defeat the death riders. The storyline wasn't my favorite but it drove the story forward. And no one can say Mox can't sell the shit out of being someone we despise.

 

Hangers selling the shit out of being conflicted with the Swerve move of assisting him right before he wins the title.

I think the two matches that could have been non PPV level today were the TNT match, and the tag team championship match, although that one advanced major storylines forward. Everything else was excellent and well paced for a PPV.
