Counter-programming what is gonna be one of the best wrestling PPVs of all time with a Goldberg retirement match is f'ing hilarious. Like people who bought All In are gonna tune out of Okada/Omega or Toni/Mercedes to watch a 3min Goldberg match

It’s not even going H2H with All In so seems like a stupid attempt to take take attention away from a much bigger event to a lot of fans. Could give too shits about seeing Goldberg in a ring ever again.

My only complain about the ads all over WWE is that the ad on the poster for the Chelsea Green/Charlotte Flair match made it seem like they’d be fighting in a Papa John’s and now I kinda wish they were

 

Brody King got mentioned positively on MSNBC tonight. Around the 9 minute mark.

 

CMLL show from tonight has had some fun matches. Mercedes and La Catalina are killing it.

 

Willow should start the downfall of Mercedes by taking the TBS off her as a callback to the Strong title match imo

 

Was fully expecting Cena to mention AEW in that promo tbh. Would have been a very Cena thing to do.

 

Orton/Zayn had unreal chemistry, run that back weekly

Those were also terrible photos they used. Well the editing style at least.

 

Cena’s pipe bomb was pretty funny. Definitely beats all the generic whiny promos he’s done most of this run.

 

It was definitely the best thing he’s done in this run. But the WWE fans acting like it was some nuclear level promo because he mentioned….Dolph Ziggler, Zack Ryder and Claudio is fucking hilarious.

Someone on reddit made a great point that those arent just AEW-type callbacks, they're the dudes that Punk could have put over around the time of his title runs, guys he would talk about in out-of-character interviews as being undervalued, and in reality he didn't go to bat for them. He was literally supposed to face Claudio the night he walked out.

Though a "Hey Hangman" would have been great.

Don’t think the downfall of Mercedes is happening any time soon - I think she’s going over at all in
