yeah that was a really boring, bland Money in the Bank. I'm sure it's the way the lighting is but the dome looked/sounded not full. The crowd was dull for the dull ppv.

womens match felt as formulaic as i've seen for a mitb match in a while. Just planned spot after planned spot until we get to some finish. Dual finishers in unison, i'm sorry, that was stupid.

Mens match was fine but why the hell was Andrade in this thing lol

Lyra and Becky delivered another very fine mid-card match. Heel becky rules. I liked their first match better but still totally fine.

Tag match main event for a june ppv. Is this 1995 In your house? R-truth return was surprising though.

I think the WWE is in a bit of trouble right now. It's sorta spiraling into pretty crappy boring mode. Very skippable ppv.

 

the thing about any wwe show is if you dont start that thing at least an hour late to give yourself the fast forward buffer youre dumb as hell

 

You guys still watch WWE and AEW? Especially when this promotion exists?

Totally besides the point but Bret’s shirt in that picture/tweet is horrendous for where the tone/color change is. Thought he was profusely sweating when I first looked at it.

 

I think Cena and Jey as champs is hurting the brand. Obviously the Cena run is just a giant gimmick, but Jey is just doing anything interesting. I’m thinking that something fresh is for the best, it doesn’t seem like they are going that direction.

MITB definitely felt like a big step backwards and it seemed like a poorly planned lower tier event.

 

Btw thats now 3 "special events or ppvs or whatever" in a row where neither Iyo or Tiffany wererent on the show. Ya know....the two women world champions.

I got rid of cable so I haven't seen Tiffany since mania.

 

Not to mention MITB doesn’t hit like it use to. I think Dolph and Seth were the last two great cash ins we’ve seen

 

HHH hates the MITB gimmick

 

Honestly it’s time for it to go away for a while. When I heard them say it’s been 20 years already I was like fuck… let it go away for 5 years or so. Bring it back every 2-3 years.

 

Insert another rant about their being too many belts and therefore it makes situations like rumble, mitb etc less impactful.

 

I kind of feels like it’s run its course.
