you should never immediately tap from a sleeper, it's not a 'pain' submission

 

Arguably its more dangerous, properly applied to lose consciousness in half a second...so you tap before it gets there. A seasoned wrestler knows the arm is deep under the chin and they're f'd.

 

i just think it makes more sense for a wrestler to instinctively fight it initially, even if it's not particularly prolonged. don't think it reflects well to have any strongly booked wrestler's immediate instinct be to quit.
