yeah, he is insufferable, but god damn he cut the best promo of last night. dude knows how to work a crowd and is obvious he's been watching some 80s stuff for inspiration. hope gunther beats him in 3 minutes

 

They need to do the “Gunther is destroying and toying with him for 10 minutes but suddenly Pat catches him slipping, gets the hope spot, only to get destroyed” playbook

 

Haven’t seen smackdown since it became 3 hours. Anything good happening over there? Fenix as big a deal as Penta?

Absolutely go out of your way to see the TLC match @DisloyalOrder mentioned above.

Otherwise, it's been mostly fine. They've really been trying to get the tag division over and have mostly failed at doing so, save for the aforementioned match. Street Profits, DIY, and MCMG are all great but prior to this, none of them have really been clicking as far as weekly TV/promos/matches are concerned.

Jacob Fatu has been doing cool shit. McIntyre is still really good. I would say Fenix has not connected as organically as Penta has, but it's still early.

Aleister Black is doing the NXT gimmick if you're into that.

Chelsea Green rules but they inexplicably took the U.S. title off of her (Zelina is cool and all but the crowd does not give a single shit.)

 

I have not been able to care about Smackdown for a while.

 

Also seeing the news that its ratings are the lowest they've been in a while. Smackdown just absolutely sucks right now outside of a few bright spots.

 

Also, it's only been a couple of weeks and there is plenty of time for me to be proven wrong, but holy shit, Rusev and Aleister Black returning opposite of Otis and The Miz respectively does not give me confidence that their ceilings are any higher than they were when they left.

 

All In ticket / hotel secured. Let the countdown begin.

Pretty good NXT last night. Some of the bumps Guilia were taking in the main event looked gnarly.

 

saw a rare good bit of fantasy booking: Mustafa Ali using the TNA partnership to get that North American title shot he never got because of his firing

 

They were beating the shit out of each other last night, I like that in my wrestling. I never watched tna so I’ve never watched any of Graces matches but damn is she a stud

 

very stoked to attend live AEW wrestling tonight. The Masonic should look dope.
