Actually that’s what all three H’s stand for.

 

He’s well spoken when he breaks out of the WWE scripts.

 

Only two of them stand for horny. The middle one is “He’s ‘bi’ lots of things, but not lingual”

 

I will say the MVP’s of the weekend were Cody Rhodes and Samantha Irvin. She is really the best ring announcer WWE has probably ever had and adds so much to the matches she announces. It’s very similar to how I feel about Bruce Buffer with UFC. She does an incredible job at getting everyone pumped and making everyone feel like a star. Fantastic job done by her announcing all matches on both nights.

 

Had folks over for Game Night and we popped on Mania at 6, only really paid attention to the opening and closing matches, gonna have to revisit some of the stuff in between.

Was very fun watching the last one in a room full of people with varying levels of fandom

 

I laughed earlier at Seth just getting obliterated basically all weekend long, but I think it's freaking awesome that they went so nuanced with the finishing sequence.

Seth showed up in Shield garb not just to be the literal shield, but to tempt Roman. He felt like, at the end of the day, if Reigns had the opportunity to symbolically get his receipt for the 2014 turn, he wouldn't be able to resist, and he was right. That moment led to Cody hitting the triple Cross Rhodes and winning. A great little touch.

I wish Cole would've been able to hammer that home a little better, but also I don't blame him because jesus there was so much happening.

Anyway, Seth rules. Quirky dude who puts his foot in his mouth sometimes but that dude fucking lives and breaths this with every fiber in his being. Unsung hero of this weekend.

 

Binged both nights today. Long night but I had to do it. Avoiding wwe spoilers in 2024 is impossible so had to get it in.

That main event.....this is why the wwe will almost be impossible to ever beat. Ever. They have the history on their side. That was the most epic main event since rollins cash in. It was fun. It was nuts. They threw the god damn kitchen sink and it worked.

Don't wanna go into too much detail but this was a top tier mania, no question.

 

Didn't mind the whole Avengers thing as Cena, Rock, Taker didn't really contribute to attacking the actual opponents (I know Solo did and Jimmy, but those were earlier) I however felt that Undertaker had NO reason to pop up. Everyone else atleast had something to do with the bloodline plot

 

tbf, the first time roman showed signs of being a heel was the night after he beat the undertaker at wrestlemania. Austin would've been better because of his history with the rock, but at the very least Taker does have history with Roman

 

He also did this in the 2022 Rumble, which was technically the only title match Roman lost in the run (by DQ, so no title change) because Seth triggered him so hard

Arguably him beating the Undertaker is the genesis of his heel turn.

I think its fine to suggest that Sami or KO or someone of that ilk taking out The Rock is a more direct tie-in, but, Taker has plenty of reason to take out Roman at WM

 

Also it's Wresltemania and the Undertaker lol.

I would think their plan is to buy the rest from him over time. The weekend truly felt like "he's gone and also fuck him"

 

Still sucks him getting cut out is him getting a $400+ million payment. Hope he gets bankrupt in court.
