Well Punk did it twice and just because TK let it happen doesn’t absolve Punk. Most people are going to blame the guy who is getting in fights over the owner who enabled it. Both are wrong, but I also think Punks lack of personal accountability and constantly talking about it have rubbed people the wrong way. Besides firing Punk, TK has been pretty quiet about the whole thing mostly due to legal reasons.

Everyone should just shut the fuck up and move on. No need to be bitter and beat a dead horse. Punk had been doing well rebranding his image before this interview, but I assume he doesn’t care because he knows WWE Stan’s will eat this shit up.

 

Oh no doubt and I agree. I think my frustrations are mainly because I’m tired of hearing about it.

Besides all of the drama with his fights, saying guaranteed money ruined the business is such a horseshit statement. Considering AEW only has 2 live events per week it’s not feasible to pay these guys on how much they draw. They aren’t doing the heavy WWE schedule to be able to make money on live shows. Guaranteed money allows wrestlers to perform without the stress of thinking about how much they draw constantly and TK has to offer something that’s different from WWE to entice wrestlers to join AEW over WWE. TK also llets a lot of these guys grind on the indies as well. The rights AEW wrestlers have is the best thing TK has done for the industry.

 

Which is stunning from someone who so proudly loves to talk about how "for the boys and girls!" they are. It's almost like he's just a giant turd lol
