The tech has been their so long, Im amazed WWE hasnt been doing this forever the way they script shows. They're like the only major sports company that could just routinely have 5+ minute steadicam segments and they'd work all the time

You're being offered way more money, way less dates and the ability to work in other places if you want to do that. Ospreay pretty much confirmed all of that to be the case for his own situation.

WWE isn't going to throw out millions of dollars to new signees because they'll always work under the premise that nobody is bigger than the company.

 

The idea of WWE going after big free agents in the future will not be expected. The company has their long hauls of college athletes yearly, and at this point have their own machine to develop them. Instead of new contracts in the future, they won't have to care if someone decides to leave because someone will replace. Basically the same way of operating now tbh

 

The second biggest MMA promotion in the US landed a deal with MAX to start airing events beginning this Friday. Pretty big deal and makes me hopeful we might see something with AEW sooner than later.
