Meltzer and Alvarez offer absolutely nothing to the wrestling world

 

I mean that’s definitely not true. Meltzer news sources have been shit lately but historical recording alone with his newsletters have been great. I get not liking them but to say they offer nothing is just wrong

My short Hazbin Hotel phase was embarrassing,

 

Alvarez is one of the best wrestling journalists around. He gets shit because he’s associated with Meltzer, but his radio shows are top tier material. Dave is beginning to show his age and has definitely not what he used to be.

 

I don't think I would ever consider Alvarez a journalist and the only reason anyone even pays attention to him is because he's associated with Meltzer

 

yeah meltzer is the goat when it comes to pro wrestling history and his ratings are a nice metric to reference to find matches I probably would have never given a chance to and/or sought out (older stuff). i really like bryan's radio shows they make work fly by lol he is more so a jockey in the same vein as busted open, etc.

 

Motion to stop referring to all these cats as wrestling “journalists” and just call em bloggers, please

I think Alvarez is genuinely an entertaining broadcaster, something Meltzer 100% is not.

 

I have so many questions

 

I know I was in Worcester the same few days that blood and guts was in Boston and it was tough trying to figure out the logistics of finishing work and getting in there (and getting home after a bunch of beers at a wrestling show). Plenty of people in that area to sell a show

Hilarious to watch Dave getting worked. Also, smart of hangman to work an injury into a match he’s not winning
