Awarded to the individual who has shown the most improvement year over year in the ring, on the mic, and in any other type of segment.

i don't watch NXT much but Lash Legend went from too green for TV to someone to watch awful quick

 

My vote goes to Dom for most improved

 

Lash Legend is a good shout. She was unwatchable when she was first in TV, and yeah now is definitely coming into her own.

Dom is also my number one pick for this. Few people have had the turnaround that guy has had in just a year.

 

This only because he has finally been given a push but my most improved is Swerve. The last few months of his booking have been absolutely unreal.

 

I’d say Dom.

Probably doesn’t count but Christian would be one for me. Never really cared about Christian before

 

I’ll say Dom as well. Lash Legend could be my pick next year if she keeps at it.

The tournament is the overall arching story currently, yes, There is so much story being told by the in ring action and it's all been fascinating to me. If in-ring promos and angle are your deal, then these stories aren't for you.

Daniel Garcia slowly transitioning from sports entertainer to wrestler again, but making mistakes because he is not fully there yet along with the Bryan Danielson promo continuing it. Brody King being turned into a monster via tournament is major for him and the heavyweight scene. Eddie Kingston starting the comeback after being down 0-2 in the tournament. Current story of Andrade and CJ with its impact on him. The promos have been fantastic as well.

This is the type of wrestling and stories that made me fall in love with wrestling.

 

yeah, i really wish there was something like a C2 at all times lol. i was thinking it would be neat to do something similar for the women or the tags.

 

I almost said Dom for most overpushed because I feel like he was on all three shows nonstop, but he was their biggest heat magnet & grew into it. He could not cut a promo without losing his words or looking flustered around this time last year but he owns the role now. Most improved for sure. The Gunns kind of fit this description too, but on a smaller scale.

I’ll also give Corbin a shoutout for making himself a serious again after getting beat like a drum on the main roster forever.

 

i wish i had a memory, because it's interesting tonights show runs to 10:05 but i can't remember if that's resulted in a significant show-ending angle in the past

 

Yeah, Dom feels like the easy answer. I'd also put Athena and Julia up, Julia moreso because obviously Athena's been around and decent.

Christian, Corbin, Swerve...they all found fresh versions of their characters, but, they've been legit for years.

 

Gunn club would be another for most improved for me. Love those guys

My question is that is it genuine or he has too?

 

If it helps those training there and has a positive impact on them, I don’t think it matters

 

I think he genuinely wants to help

 

Oh no doubt, and I suspect that was a decent part of his rift in AEW; some of the younger guys clearly liked working with Punk and learning...and obviously people like Hangman didnt. NXT's also just a wildly different vibe than Dynamite.

That said, the SRS detail on this was funny

Ibou of WrestlePurists who has a good connection with sources close to Punk stated that sources have indicated that his long-term goal is to eventually succeed Shawn Michaels in running the NXT brand.
