I mean, drop all the Owen tourney matches and its a fine PPV. Though yeah, that tag match was a Dynamite 9pm match, not a PPV match. Fletcher/Briscoe was awesome, but, also should have been a Dynamite opener or Collision main.

They do eventually have to learn from the WWE model a bit where Revolution/DON/All In/Full Gear are the 4.5hr PPVs, and the others should be like 7 match/3.5hrs max.

Agreed. Better to have 7 matches that all have purpose/build than to have 10-11 matches where a third of the card is super predictable and not as interesting.

 

Does occur to me that Anarchy in the Arena is a DoN classic. Mox/Claudio/Pac/Bucks v Swerve/Hangman/Ops would be kinda dope.

Now Im hoping my work trip to PHX that has been postponed can be rescheduled around then, becuase my brother is living there now and Id LOVE to be there for an Anarchy match

 

I think we get Osperay/Hangman at DON in the Owen final. Besides that I can definitely see some sort of Anarchy in the Arena match with everyone else involved.

 

Bummed Mox retained. But honestly it was a good match and I’m glad to see the bucks back. Also cool to see more evidence of Swerve and Hangman burying the hatchet.

 

Good point on everyone basically being heels now. I'd say let's see a heels vs heels and watch how it turns out but costing Swerve the loss will put heat on the Bucks and they won't be seen as the "lesser of two evils".

Re: Ospreay, I dunno that's just my cope/hope lol. It looks like he's gonna feud with Okada next, we could see belt bs belt, that could keep him busy with the Owen Hear Cup taking place too, and whether or not be has belts or none he can stay busy until then. Regardless, I want him to win at All In.....I guess it would now be a question of what is Mox's journey to All In look like, does he keep the title or just lose it to someone who's eventually gonna drop to Ospreay after a short run?

Yeah, especially when there's guys like Swerve, Hangman and Ospreay who would all be amazing top guys and are clearly dedicated. Tony Khan is a strange man I guess.

Maybe this is well known / established but I don’t get the timeline of why Darby would go on this trip unless he didn’t know the long term plans of becoming champ? And why does everyone think he was next in line to become champ?

I also don’t know how long in advance you need to schedule trips to Everest but it’s certainly not something you can do on the fly and is stupidly expensive so maybe Darby scheduled this a year or two ago and couldn’t / didn’t want to reschedule. Clearly Tony would have known he was gonna be gone for awhile since this isn’t a weekend activity lol

Either way, seems like Tony is very bad at pivoting on the fly and/or is hardheaded and refuses to change plans when something unexpected happens.

 

Listening to a WhatCulture video and they’re saying Darby isn’t even on the fucking mountain yet, that it starts 4/15 lmao.

most search results show the climb takes around two months with acclimating to the environment included so I assume maybe he’s there and doing that now, but Jesus, if he hasn’t even started yet by the time he goes up, comes down, acclimates and hopefully doesn’t suffer any issues that’s probably at least another 2-3 months he away. Tony just needs to move on to someone else to end Mox’s reign. They’ve got plenty of guys to do it.

 

I really don’t see them putting the title on Darby. I think he is just delaying the title change to closer to All In to make things feel important instead of making a rush decision. Darby won’t finish climbing Everest until mid June.

 

Darby’s ineffective offense is everything bad about Orange Cassidy except he’s 30 lbs lighter than Orange. I can’t take him seriously against someone like Mox who outweighs him by 100 lbs and has 6” on him.

I know, I know: Rey Mysterio. Darby is nowhere near Rey Mysterio and his 20 years of being booked as a giant killer before he started main eventing.
