I'm still battling jet lag from my Japan trip combined with the fact I gotta be up at 5:30 for work tomorrow, so I'm surprised I'm still awake

I’m not mad at it. At least they added a wrinkle to this angle and we got the Bucks back.

Same. It definitely adds to this whole Death Riders angle and we'll see where the Bucks land in the grand scheme of things. Glad they're back!

 

Doubt it. We got 7 weeks til DON. A lot of time to build up another Swerve match or whoever is next. I assume Hangman or Osperay wins the Owen. There’s a lot of different directions for this to go.

Only thing that worries me is the Bucks EVP angle going belly up is what forced the Death Riders to even become a thing (and also kind of shortened its shelf life because it was 2 company takeover angles back to back).

FTR are heels. Bucks are heels. Im a little worried they have too many heel factions and the people who are gonna respond to them (Edge/Christian, Hurt Business?, etc) are all tweeners at best.

I mean, thats fine, but, why not just put Ospreay over him at this PPV? Surely they know at this point that its gone belly up.

 

It was nice to see some guys fight back to help Swerve. It finally feels like some legit push back and it’s at the same time as a new threat in the Bucks is arriving. Definitely didn’t feel like a stale ending and has me intrigued. If they have an endgame with DON/All In factored in, I don’t mind the title not changing. AEW has made title changes feel pretty significant and I can get why TK doesn’t want to rush things. However I’d like to see this paid off at DON. My ideal situation is Swerve takes the title in a rematch at DON, Hangman wins the Owen and the winner of their match at All In faces Osperay at Forbidden Door.

All that being said, it was a fun show that went too long. They could have cut the Mercedes match and the tag title match. If you’re gonna go this long, you need to start earlier especially if it’s a Sunday show. I’m on the west coast and feel tired, I can’t imagine how that crowd must have felt past midnight.
