  1. 2019 WWE ass booking there

No he shouldn’t have lol what are we doing here

They’re clearly building to Okada/Omega. In no world should Okada be losing to Brody right now

  3. They better be unifying the titles

Would’ve loved to see Brody go over. It also wouldn’t have been the worst thing for Okada to drop the title going into his match with Omega.

Okada vs Omega? Can’t knock TK, he’s always find new and exciting match ups…

Oh no, two of the greatest of all time are going up against each other in AEW. What terrible booking.

    Feels like that’s what’ll happen

and don’t get me wrong I love Brody and wish they would give him a bigger push. I just don’t think this matchup was the time to

only reason the PPV wasn't an A+ is the finish to mox/cope, wish toni/Mariah main evented. That card had like four of the most amazing matches I've ever seen.

Did the show end at midnight last night? Because I fell asleep during the main event and when I woke up at like...12:15, the stream said stay tuned for the press conference or whatever

    Like 5-10mins after midnight ET.

  11. I do agree I just wanted to see a surprise last night - last night was some of the best wrestling of the year but the outcomes were all somewhat predictable (which also isnt bad)

Hell of a show. Shame about the main event. Call an audible, strap up Swerve, Swerve vs. Hangman IV at All In.

Ah good, sounds like i didn't miss much judging by everyone's reactions then.

Agree with this 100%. I would’ve loved to see an upset for a few of the matches. I honestly wouldn’t have minded if Fletcher won their match either to shake things up.

I watched last night and thought it was great outside of the main event. I honestly don’t watch weekly so can someone please tell me what the point of Christian cashing that contract in if he wasn’t at least going to get a transitional run or something? Failed cash in attempts are dumb

Also the cage match rocked hard last night, I’m a sucker for a great cage match. Punk/Rollins should be dope tonight as well in a completely different way

They had to get it off of him after realizing they made a terrible mistake giving it to him in the first place. I'll be honest, AEW should never have a MITB-style gimmick precisely because its so frequently causes these issues.

Like, I can kayfabe that ending all I want (Christian wouldnt let Edge win the title out of spite, and it cost him)...but, the dude waiting several months to cash it in, who just watched Mox take 3 spears, should 100% have let the pinfall happen and then cashed in a 1-on-1 match.

The Death Riders angle makes more sense if you just pretend the terror they're trying to inflict on the company is just dogshit main events.

Really excellent show outside of that. Felt like the worst of mid-2000s WWE style main events. I really like both Moxley and Copeland and thought the latter might breathe some life into this dud of an angle, but, it just didn't pan out. This is the second time AEW has had a dead angle at the top of the card that they just won't let go of (MJF/Cole/Devil, of course, being the other.) It's time to cut bait and hopefully the repositioning of Swerve is the start of exactly that.

John // OC now, OH forever.

Watching Revolution now, Hangman should never do Angels Wings again.

With last night being the “end” of Mariah and Toni’s feud I’m really curious/excited to see what’s next for both of them.
