Crowd has sucked all night. They were like a Corpus Christi crowd, honestly. Spent more time popping for boo'ing the Celtics than any match

 

Loved that match and I’m all for a much longer Osperay chase for the title. Let Swerve has his reign. Impressive performance by both of them and legitimizes Swerves reign.

Excellent match. Swerve needed to come out of that well and he did.

 

That match ruled. Give me 10 more rematches

 

one would have to think he holds the title till at least Full Gear

 

but I also keep forgetting that All In is two months away so there is plenty of time to chase and build to him losing the title then

 

Swerve's also had to work a more deliberate/slower pace to most of his title matches...which he's good at, but, this was a nice reminder that deep down he can do some fluid Lucha shit.

I mean, anyone working with Will is gonna look great (the way he jumped into that JML driver was super dynamic and made it look like a million bucks), but, he looked every bit the part in that match

 

Fletcher is gotta be the one to stab the proverbial screw driver in Osprey's back, right?

 

I'd deff sign up for an All-In rematch, this booking deff supports that idea.

 

they should save the All In Rematch for next year - really let Swerve get his Roman on haha

 

There's probably a story to be told, if they want, in Hangman finally beating Swerve at All In as Swerve's final comeuppance for his sins; the man he created is the one who takes him down. And then Hangman, as a full heel, finally getting taken down at Wrestledream by the one guy that couldnt best him when he was champion....Bryan Danielson.

I'd also point out that the logical finals matchup for Calgary is Danielson v Wild Card, which could set that all into motion

 

also did Britt come out through the face tunnel? this would be the perfect time to turn Mercedes heel since she's better at it than being a face

 

Also, sort of slowly piecing together the obvious bits...it would also mean Danielson can main event the Tokyo Dome (for Dynasty) as AEW champ as basically his last "full-time" match. And drop the belt at Revolution to whoever.

 

So, I lost track of which tunnel was which because MJF went out the heel tunnel; and I feel like some of the ladder match entrances were off too. But, Mercedes was clutching those belts like a crazy person, so feels like a heel turn is inevitable.
