I guess Tommy Dreamer was telling TNA talent they can request their release due to the change. I’d imagine there will be some to ask out

 

I thought that was the best episode of television AEW has produced in close to a year. It wasn’t even anything THAT special, it just felt genuinely focused, particularly on full-time contracted talent.

Undisputed Kingdom is just straight garbage, though. If they just bailed on it entirely, I’d forgive them for the lack of logic. It’s awful.

 

Yeah, this whole faction being about Roddy winning the international title is a MAJOR letdown.

I think when MJF is back it can pick up steam again, Cole's good enough to re-energize it...but the rest of them have all hit their peak

 

The whole thing just feels like such a miss. They knew Cole was hurt before they even introduced the Devil. They had two opportunities to pivot and didn’t. It’s not even like the train had left the station and they couldn’t course correct.

By the time the reveal happened, they already knew they’d be without the two guys central to the story for an extended period.

Not to mention they made everyone else in the group a laughing stock in the months leading up to the thing. Except Wardlow, who was relegated to part time squash act with no momentum. They put it in a position to fail from the jump.

Given how hot the MJF/Cole run was over the summer, the result feels like one of the biggest blunders the company has ever had creatively.

Ngl when I saw the Bucks covered in blood on instagram I was hoping that it was to write Flair out of AEW

Not going to lie, super interested to see how this Wrestlemania Preshow thing goes tonight. I'll be tuning into Peacock live for sure. I really think we may get Cody/ Roman night one and Rock/ Roman Night 2.

 

I blame myself being friends with someone whose really into the figure scene because the show ended with me going "Man, Bucks in bloody suits would make a fantastic two piece set".

 

Would I be better off going to SD before or Raw after Mania?

in recent years, Smackdown before has been a Mania undercard of sorts - usually a midcard title match and the Andre battle royal. i'd go raw after

 

I guess I should watch last night's Dynamite, Mercedes is more than enough to bring me back to watching. Is there any rumor/news that Okada will be showing up soon too?

 

Another major factor that made Dynamite rule last night.

it just felt like a fall 2019 episode. Classic, connected stories, awesome matches.

 

Wouldn’t be surprised if we get Mercedes and Okada at that Boston show next month

Buddy I’ve got a messed up back and am home from work the rest of the week. Hurt it last week, went to the dr, tried to take it easy and had some light pain meds. Was bearable over the weekend and Monday at work, then Tuesday I could barely get out of my truck. My wife had to come pick me up and drive me to the dr again lol

 

I’m getting better but Tuesday was rough. I could barely get out of bed.

 

Wow wow that is exactly the move they need to do, doing 2 stars in a show is such a good move. Just like they did With Danielson and Cole.

Danielson and Cole showing up is like easily the best moment in AEW lol.
