Yeah the ticket sales have been pretty iffy. Dynamite is actually at 5K every week which isn’t bad and the PPV’s draw really well. I think Collision is just on a super tough night and they have struggled to build it up like Dynamite. It feels very much like SD did in the early 2010’s. I almost feel like they would be better off taping Collision on Tuesdays or Thursdays from a live gate perspective. There’s just too much going in during the weekends for people to want to attend.

 

As deserved Punks firing from aew was, TK deserves this kick in the balls after going on that twitter rant.

I just dont see it (spouses being in WWE aside). Malakai is getting to run his character like he wants in AEW. After how they handled The Fiend/Bray and any even mildly supernatural stuff the last couple of years...if I'm Malakai, I'd be terrified to go back, even with HHH in charge.

This will definitely be an interesting run. It’s a great get for WWE and Punk will be an exciting addition leading up to WM. I’m intrigued, but not getting my expectations super high.

If they are smart they use him like Brock and make him a special attraction. Part of my issue with Punk’s last run with AEW is that he was over exposed to the point where him appearing wasn’t anything special. He didn’t need his own show that he was in the event of every week.

 

He requested his release last year. Not sure how much his stance has changed since then.
