Was never a Lex fan even as a WCW fan kid. I always thought he was boring. But his run is undoubtedly HOF worthy. Well deserved.

Now that they're putting in Luger then hopefully they'll induct Sid Eudy soon too. Sid was 2x WWE Champion. 2x WCW Champion. Main evented Wrestlemania twice. If that isn't a HOF career I don't know what is.

Cody turning heel would have been an awful idea

 

I am curious if they have Cena win at Mania as a heel and then lose the title as a face (or in a match where he turns or there is a double turn)

Or does he lose at Mania as a heel, chase the title as a heel (and finally win it as a face as he “realizes the error of his ways”?)

or does he win/lose the title as the same thing (heel or face).

Either way, I’m curious how long his title run is. I have to imagine he wants to have matches against Punk, Randy, Styles, Sami, Owens and many others before he hangs it up. Curious how many of those would be title matches. And I wonder if he actually will wrestle weekly / a few times a month (does he go on a run kind of like his US title run where he seemed to always be in matches weekly) or does he only wrestle at PPV’s? Or only the big PPV’s?

 

Cody turning heel would have been Austin turning level bad.

 

It would be cool if they let him do an open challenge here and there on a random episode of Raw

 

I feel like maybe the do the Rock/Hogan route where Cody makes the save to help Cena when he drops the title to turn Cena face

Feels like he's winning the belt as a heel at WM (or what are they doing), and I just dont see how you turn him back face unless its literally turning on The Rock (which, bleh) until he loses the belt.

So, win as a heel, drop it as a heel to a babyface they want to really boost (would love it to be Sami; if they werent so deep down the rabbit hole, KO's "Ive been right all along" gimmick would have worked too...shit, even The Rock boosting Jacob would make sense), and probably turn back face in a build to his retirement match to put over a heel they want to boost (this would be where a Gunther or Bronn or such would make sense).

 

That Binaca/Naomi stuff was awkward as hell. The exact opposite of “cinema”.

 

Who'd have thought that using one of their more compelling faces in a soft-ass heel angle, over a woman who looks like a peak Vince-era heel, would fall flat...all while their superstar partner, who is engaged in an actual WM angle completely independent of them and won the chamber despite all this nonsense...would overshadow it.

 

Yeah, not a fan of this angle to begin with but the timing makes zero sense. Bianca is in big match with other people and the payoff will be super delayed. I’m almost expecting some dumbass swerve and them making Bianca heel at some point. The acting was that bad that I wouldn’t be shocked if it’s just some dumb charade for Bianca to face Jade eventually.
