Weirdly, they're kinda at the WM2000 point of things. Solo/Jacob probably are as irrelevant as the Big Show was to that...but, between Cena/Punk/Drew/Roman/etc, they honestly might find more value in that kinda transitional story if what they're setting up is a Rock/Cody thing.

 

Also, just saw the clips...Trish Stratus as Tiffy's partner is just super odd all-around...legit only because its Charlotte challenging her that its just not a blood bath of a story angle where fans tuning in and out define it.

Though I am shocked at how over Trish still is. Thats definitely a solid idea once they figure out that

 

I think the only reason Trish is in the mix is because EC is in Toronto

 

I guess that shit Rock segment got the Liv/Naomi match cancelled so that’s extra shitty of Rock, especially when they are already pissed off with how they are being booked

 

If it’s all leading to a Cody heel turn, I’m absolutely fine with that

I can’t see Logan facing anyone but Punk, Cena or Styles. All three have rumored matches already but I think they’re gonna throw people off.

Its weird, they had Penta stare down Bron shortly after his debut, but now he's just wrestling randos. And Logan eliminated AJ at the Rumble, which is usually how they set up WM matches. So part of me thinks they're doing a multi-man match for that belt.
