They avoided using 'Ricky Starks' on social media, commentary, and in his promo. I don't see a logical reason to do any of that if he was keeping it, you'd want to make sure his name was getting out there as much as possible.

Whereas Ricky Starks is legit Richard Starks, it cant be trademarked. They didnt say his name, the video has no name, there's no merch, and he weirdly doesnt say his name in their little reel. Though, could also be that they had like a days notice and just went with it (would be refreshing)

It'd be really dumb to rename him just to have a trademark, but, its kinda the way WWE does things.

 

Question is, is it "Absolute Osiris Griffin" or "Absolute Drako Knox"

 

I mean, considering he was released Sunday/Monday and turned up Tuesday, he may not have even signed a contract yet. Unlikely considering they probably had a contract printed and ready for about 6 months now, but you never know.

Maybe we'll get more of him at Vengeance Day.
