I’m fine with MCMG losing the titles. Rather than going straight for the Ciampa/Gargano feud it gives them (mostly Johnny) something new to work with. I also think WWE does too many long term reigns and this keeps a surprise element going.

I love how Shelton Benjmain's been used/showcased in AEW so far. I think they could have gotten more out of him & Swerve before Lashley debuted, but he's been exactly what the card has needed. Got the crowd to pop whenever Fletcher took a bump.

have been going back and forth about buying world's end tickets for the last few weeks. feel like AEW has been a bit of a mess recently but i'm very intrigued by the main event scene atm

 

I thought the rumor was his contract ran well into 2025, so I doubt it'd be Mania as of right now. Though, now he's speaking out on it...so maybe he's trying to get out for that.

I was thinking about going because it was like 60% sold earlier in the week, figured tickets would drop a lot, but honestly the venue looks kinda bad.

But seeing those Iron Surivor matches live is gonna rule

Just wait til the week of, they'll be cheap or B1G1 by then. And I think even if some of the stories are meh, you're getting 3 CC matches + whatever the Mox/OC stuff is building towards (feels like an Anarchy/Stadium Stampede maybe), and AEW PPVs rarely miss

 

10mins in and this match concept is still undefeated. Ethan page getting rolled up instantly and then stealing the pin right out of the box is something no other match can do

 

Really wanted Oba to go main roster but this is cool too

truly amazing that a match this convoluted could work so well, but it absolutely rips

 

Its probably the only match (aside from one of those "beat your rival by winning a jobber match faster") where going for constant near falls makes sense. And where you can rattle off 3-4-5 pinfalls in 60s and it doesnt hurt anyone.

Like, how they booked Trick last year...down huge, killing the crowd, then stacking up pins to finish, its just gold
