Idk if this is a hot take but I really don't care for Darby being anything higher than a mid-card act.

Not really; sounds like the report was basically the reported $170mil/yr once rights fees, etc are included. How the PPVs shake out will be a big deal; if its the ESPN+/UFC model, then AEW is probably really well off in this deal (as they'd still get a nice chunk of PPVs). If they lose all the PPV revenue, then its still a good deal, but not as great as it could have been
