At this rate I think it’s obvious everything that’s transpired is real. What really got me was when Punk was asked about getting advice from legends. His response was a slap in the face to the industry and to the guys that he wish he could ever amount to be. Sorry for the rant but I’m so over the mother fucker.

He basically spit in the face of the promotion he works for. This company was built on the backs of the Bucks, Omega and Cody. CM Punk was doing jack shit before AEW called him.

What were the ratings like pre-punk? I don't remember them being THAT different.

 

They were not that different, neither were buy rates. He gave them a bump the first few months, but beyond that it’s been nothing crazy.

Tony also deserves to take a lot of blame for this. Should have shut Punk up as soon as he started in on Colt. Incredibly bad control of the situation. Let’s also not forget, Punk wasn’t even asked a question about Colt. He saw an old acquaintance of Colts and started to go on his rant unprovoked.

I don't think you reach the level of success these guys have without some kind of ego so it isn't really surprising
