I’m way behind but I think Punk and FTR get along good because they’re all old school guys. You could’ve plugged FTR into the territories in the 80s and they would’ve been the biggest thing. They have a lot of the same philosophies. Punk spent a large part of his career trying to pick Harley Races brain or Terry Funks brain when other new guys coming up with him were just hitting towns and having fun.

EVPs could have stepped in and said "hey, Colt is still here" or "Punk did nothing to push anyone out." someone higher up could have done something and they didn't. too many heads to blame here.
