AEW should have some sort of “off season” baked into their talent contracts. Allows them to get away before they HAVE to leave for injury (Kenny) or mentally (black). Especially with how big this roster is, they could give everyone 2-3 months off per year.

 

This match, prior to the squash, would have been about what I expected from Punk/Mox. I'd have probably expect Punk to also lick Mox's blood for good measure?

If the end of this PPV is MJF returning (Or the next Dynamite or whatever)...think of how hot he'll be precisely because he took 2-3 months off (and purportedly for mental health reasons)

edit: Hell, even Mox, who took time off in the worst way possible, came back fresher because of the time off and ready to be put into this kind of spot.

 

Seems like punk crimson masking and mox not bleeding at all is on purpose
