terrible booking with the women's tag stuff - way to make me to never take Iyo and Kai seriously as a team or even take Bayley's faction seriously - they just lost to one women they lost their biggest match yet after claiming to take over the division lol

I’m okay with the decision of having them lose in this spot, as I have more faith in HHH’s longterm booking that there is a reason for it, but this is where not having an established tag division with credible opponents really hurts. Losing in the same fashion to the IIconics or something would make far more sense than a makeshift team that includes Aliyah. But unfortunately no established teams exist, so…

Also, still something really weird about Racquel’s presentation on the main roster.

 

Is Bayley's squad supposed to be heels? I only watched the debut video when they showed up and they looked like heels. But losses almost never help heels so if people are saying its maybe a good thing does that mean they are actually faces?

I would imagine they drop the tag titles very, very soon and it’s better for Dakota and Iyo to not have the belts than win them and immediately lose them when Sasha and Naomi show back up.

 

When last night's show was ending I thought the direction was maybe gonna be Sasha/Naomi joining Bayley/Iyo/Dakota and already setting up Survivor Series

 

Yeah, when Bianca, Alexa, and Asuka all came out and the five of them were standing in the ring, I was like, "Here comes Sasha and Naomi to even the odds."

I feel like they're actually trying to do a couple different things with the women's division right now with how they booked the end of the tournament: 1.) Set up the Sasha/Naomi return; 2.) Further elevate Bayley's group; 3.) Set up Raquel for a singles run by using the tag titles as a way to sort of soft relaunch her as this dominant force (the commentary last night was going really hard on Raquel winning the match on her own and how Aliyah is inexperienced/not taking it seriously enough/etc).

Realizing now that Survivor Series is so much sooner than I realized, so very well could see those 10 all competing in a Survivor Series match.

 

Aliyah pinned the wrong person and Dakota was complaining to the ref that she wasn’t the legal woman. There will probably be more to this.
