Holy shit what a stacked first night

 

I wish PWG streamed their shows live. I’d pay some serious cash to watch BOLA.

 

I know its because of wrestlers having TV exclusive rights from their main promotions...but now that ROH is DOA in terms of contracted wrestlers, I gotta imagine that doesnt even impact them that much. Its what, MLW and Impact that's left....and I gotta imagine Tony probably doesnt care that much

 

So back to one Womens Tag Team then?

 

to be fair, gable and otis have been working together for months and one of the few that actually have a clear character and story

 

In WWE (anymore), tag teams only exist as a vehicle to start a singles feud.

 

NXT creative is now being run by Bruce Pritchard and Christine Lubrano

 

The second All Elite Crate is being delivered today. The first one was great so I'm very excited to get home from work.

 

The DQ rules are weird because technically a low blow is legal?

Maybe if I were watching Raw anymore I'd have been aware of their backstory, but I had no idea they had that history. Very cool and commendable. Particularly happy for Gable who has been yanked around and underutilized for so long.

 

I didnt even realize they were a team for over a year. Maybe its because the last time I loosely paid attention they were flirting around with the idea of being a tag team...but it felt more recent than that.

The Nikki/Rhea thing is particularly egregious because they were obviously put together just to feud. And while they got more mileage out of Randy/Riddle than I expected, that was also clearly a "kill time until the Rumble to set up a WM feud"

 

Also, its weird knowing that that friendship story will never make it to TV because they dont do main roster tag teams of "these guys are friends in real life"

 

Right? Imagine how much better their win would have felt if the writers included any of that info lol
