Page vs. Danielson was a 5 star match for me, hands down.

 

The glass shattering will always be number 1 in terms of top-tier pop-worthy entrance songs, and Cult of Personality has edged its way up there, but "Time to play the game" is far closer to the top spot than I think most people would like to admit.

 

I would try to take booking out the equation, but character work is definitely something I would consider

Everything about HHH's character is perfect. The song, the entrance, the cerebral assassin gimmick, the sledgehammer, all of it.

trips is a lot more underrated than overrated at this point. it’s the one thing bret’s ever been wrong about, but i think that was more bitterness than an objective critique

Just watched Okada/Ospreay and I have no idea how someone would pick that over Danielson/hangman. I though Okada/Ospreay was alright.

 

I've never understand the "it wasn't at the Dome" discourse until today lol.

I think I just hate Ospreay enough at this point to not like his matches.

Yeah. That felt like the equivalent of a TV main event for NJPW. Like it was pretty entertaining but not WK worthy imo and definitely not a 5.75/better than danielson/page.
