I dont think Ruby is winning if they're debuting muscle for Jade the week before the title match.

Battle of the Belts is only an hour special, as I understand it. So, they couldnt even run Hangman/D-Bry believably with the story they've told, and the TBS title match not being on the TBS debut would be weird.

Running the AEW womens title and the tag titles or TNT title there makes a lot of sense.

 

ruby's gotta win imo, the big belt's already held by a heel.

i think the knee stuff this week with jade was maybe some foreshadowing. and rosa'll prolly get involved.

I want Ruby to win, and they can certainly book it that Thunder gets involved to help Ruby win, but Im expecting Jade to win it

Just feel like the secondary belts are meant to be transitional and get passed around a bit, so you can lift other people on the roster from time to time. You can put it on Jade, but what's the ultimate play there? If you're going to continue booking her as a monster, she's probably not losing the belt for a long time. And by that point, anyone capable of credibly beating her should probably be vying for the main belt. It's like putting the US title on Goldberg.

side note, I don't see Britt losing the belt until she has another possible feud with Rosa. don't see anyone else at the moment that is in position to take it off her and I think TR makes the best sense from a story perspective given their history.
