Dave thinks Gargano might debut next month for AEW for the Cleveland show.

 

Better night anyway I think. There are other things people like to do on Christmas Eve and some go to bed early. I know there's NFL this year, but there's usually less going on Christmas night.

 

I'm not Dave by any means, but I've been thinking it since they've announced the Cleveland date.

 

AEW's tag division is now pretty much the 2010's PWG tag division. ReDRagon, Young Bucks, Lucha Bros, Best Friends, Super Smash Bros, Beaver Boys.

 

I just hate A Christmas Story and the fact that 2 channels have to show it for 24 hours straight

 

NXT's main atraction during the wednesday night wars is now on AEW..wow

 

I can't believe I get to witness this live.

 

I'm more jealous you get to see the run-back of Shelley vs. Jacobs, but that's pretty dope too.

 

He was at the last Detroit show they had and I was just in awe the entire match. Dude is so insane to watch.

I normally do. Had Homicide spoiled for Arthur Ashe but that was really the only one.

I still wish Miro was champ but Cody was the right winner here. Sammy was a pretty underwhelming champ and I just don’t buy him as a face.

 

After the show they also set up Hook/Cody for Jan 12th Dynamite I believe.

I’ve never seen anyone as over as Hook after only two matches.

 

Yeah...I ultimately dont love Miro losing (though it sounds like its an injury thing). But it really only works if Cody goes full nuclear heel and puts over a babyface that needs it; and Im just not sure Im seeing that right now.

I trust AEW, but, Cody booking has way too much "HHH booking that they think is ironic but it isnt" to it right now

Actually, this is a perfect test case. If it's to put over Hook huge, then I get it (though I'd also just have him beat Sammy, honestly). A Cody win could not be more HHH-style "this guys hot, let me 'feud' with him"

 

I really think Cody is leaning hard as fuck into the Trips book yourself over but stay babyface thing, leaning into the Cena heat, he even did the Cena heel turn quip after the show to the crowd.

 

Yeah, and with Go Big Show coming and his reality show, Im not sure I see them actually doing the heel turn either...so its just a really weird black mark on an otherwise well booked show
