I started watching wrestling after a roughly 8 year hiatus during the first firefly funhouse run and had to go back and pick up on bray Wyatt’s storyline because I just thought it was the most fascinating thing I’ve seen from the wwe in a long time. What an absolutely devastating push notification.

 

He paid out of his own pocket for that last theme

 

This doesn’t feel real man. He felt immortal. Fuck.

 

That’s scary that it was Covid related. Wow.

 

He was very very sick and in the hospital around mania.

yeah i was gonna mention that idk if i'd stll be following wrestling if it wasnt for Bray. Not even a question, the Wyatt Family concept defnitely brought my out of my decade hiatus. And then for a while there was NOTHING i liked other than firefly fun house and the fiend.

 

Obviously his legacy will ultimately be so much more than this but it’s a goddamn shame one of if not the last time he appeared on tv/ppv was that weird ass Mountain Dew match with the botched ending.

 

Not Bray :( I’m gutted

 

Dude I felt so bad getting the notifications from you liking posts from dynamite last night knowing what you were about to see. :(

 

Fuck COVID. So sad.

 

Like others have said, Bray brought me back into it on a few occasions. Feels like the end of an era.

 

Rest in power, Bray.

 

But hey, you know, what's funny is that I took another hiatus from wrestling but it was this match (and sami bloodline) that got me back

Bray was the colorful, wackiness that I love about wrestling. Pitch black match vs this guy i never head of LA Knight (who i now realize is amazing)....its goofy, but it got my attention.

 

I’ll refrain from making this a SC dumping ground but I just saw the video of booker t finding out about bray’s passing live on some stream he does and god how fucking terrible.

 

What the fuck. Was in a movie then laughing at Trump's mugshot....to this.


Legit feel paralyzed

 

My brother has heart issues and covid very nearly took him out too. Damn.

 

Keith Lee had a similar thing (obviously not as bad) where he got knocked down for a few months. I think its easy to forget, sort of like NFL lineman, some of these dudes have a body type that made something like COVID real risky.

Its damn tragic, both him and Brodie, dying way too young and not ever getting the chance to be the peak of wrestling they could have been.
