As someone who has been watching all the NXT shit I've missed over the past decade & is missed most of AEW until June, I am pumped for Adam Cole.

 

When was the last time WWE had a pop like that Cole one? Bray’s return maybe, but before that? All I can think of is Edge at the Rumble.

By the time he faces Bryan, it’ll be nearly three months since his match with Starks. That’s way too long to a champ to not be defending his title especially with how stacked the roster they have is. I’m definitely not liking his title reign as much as I anticipated. This feud with Bryan is just too formulaic and drawn out. We have already seen him do this same exact type of feud before and it’s nothing that’s going to increase interest in the product. I’d be much more interested if Bryan won the title and went on to feud with Cole, Omega, Hangman or just about anyone else but MJF.

 

Winning the title was the time to show what a workhorse he is, because I know he has it in him.

It really would have been great booking, now that he is at the top he turns into a top talent along with being a cocky heel.
