See, Garcia/Sammy is a perfect example of who is run instead of JJ. Or 2.0 who are literally doing nothing. Surely The Firm can also form an Ethan page tag team if they wanted. Lethals just already been overexposed of late and the JJ pairing just feels a bit much

I agree, though WWE has something no other content really does, and that’s two steady, 2mil viewer type shows every week. They’re not a tape library or merger like a lot of other deals.

it’s clearly either Comcast or Fox though…and with SD being the only non-Comcast show, seems an obvious outcome

May well be he's off for the shoulder since he was gonna be out for a while with the concussion...but, even part of CM Punks Brawl Out presser was him worried Cole might be done wrestling

Just a reminder:

 

Page/whoever wouldn’t be a bad next step. Jarrett only worked because The Acclaimed are still green & are better when someone else leads the match. The Swerve In Our Glory match at All Out was lightning in a bottle and Garcia/Sammy would be a mess unless it’s a one-off to turn Garcia (again). Eventually the move should be heel FTR against them along with a couple other teams as the major feuds but you can weave them into the show against some underneath teams until then. Like Los Guerreros in the 2000’s.

 

I think they are a bit worried of repeating what happened with Jurassic Express. vs FTR or the Young Bucks those guys looked like a million bucks and was excited to see where their title run would go but it turns out to be rather underwhelming

Everyone Loves The Acclaimed, but they are even greener than Jurassic Express was. So I think AEW wants to be really careful about who they feud them with so they can have a memorable title reign instead of one that kills their momentum. JJ and Lethal made them look good, as long as they don't draw it out I think it was a job well done
