TNA's history is still so wild to me

 

To be honest I haven’t seen any clips of the actual war games matches funnily enough, but the way you describe it sounds like it could be pretty good. I just mostly hate the fact it looks like it’s taking place in a gym, which it is yeah, but lowering the lights goes a huge way to making that come across better on TV. They also seem to be mimicking the main roster camera style which I’m not a huge fan of.

 

The new setup and lighting makes it look like a less grungy version of that MTV wrestling show from back when. Wrestling Society X, I think it was?

Watching RAW, interesting to see they’ve taken the Rampage main event promo style here…Big E and KO cutting promos in gorilla, just missing a Mark Henry “it’s time for the main event”

 

I like Big E. I think he deserves a decent run. But he doesn’t have that “champ” vibe to me for some reason. Maybe it’s because he’s had the same gimmick for so long.

 

They changed up his presentation a bunch when he won MITB, so that helps...but, having him win and basically not cleanly clear out a feud before ending up against Roman didnt help. Especially since it looks like Lashley is lingering for the next PPV.

 

I thought the first few were good, but yeah tailed off fast.

 

FYA Fest has switched Gods Hate and another band to play on different days due to “scheduling conflicts”

Expect Brody King to debut for AEW next month.

 

If they keep up this whole Kingston/2point0/Garcia feud, they should really use it as an excuse to pair up King with PnP again.

People seem to think that Kairi is going to be making a return soon too.

 

Would love to see Kairi back in a ring again, and still massively disappointed at how her run on the main roster ended. Waste of a nearly perfect babyface who is lumped into a heel tag team for no real reason (at least, not that I can recall from a story perspective) who ended up making that work, despite it all. Kabuki Warriors entrance music still slaps, though

That’s a bummer but get paid I guess. He will be released soon enough.

 

i could see them viewing him as a good fill for danielson on the main roster. i don't think he's totally screwed

 

This is the role we were all saying years ago he was in a perfect position to fill. Maybe now with the lack of BD, they'll pull the trigger on that. Absolutely zero reason for him to stay in NXT, though.
