His ultimate heel turn will be when he signs with WWE in 2024

 

Maybe a face MJF will be the one who finally gets the title off Roman Reigns

Cody’s gonna do it this Rumble/Mania cycle and i’m honestly here for it.

 

I mean, the easiest MJF story in losing the title is that he turns face and goes soft. Him actually doing 6 months of working more matches and doing the sort of Andrade-Zelina-style "focus" angle would be a nice shake up.

But this run is gonna end when he runs out of allies. He burned Jericho and Wardlow earlier...burned the firm to get here...he's kinda down to relying on Regal at this point

 

I’m interested to see what they do with him and Regal. MJF doesn’t need Regal to get heat. And Regal doesn’t need MJF to get heat so I’m excited to see what they do.

That being said, AEW should keep Charlie Brown Footballing the MJF face turn. Have him keep convincing people that this time he's actually going to turn face. Even after having years of evidence that he's not gonna do it'll, we'll keep finding excuses why this time its different and he's actually turning face. And then each time he'll be like "haha psyche fuck you you fucking marks" and we'll fall for it every time. Because honestly that is where MJF is at his best.

 

He is never gonna be a face and we are better off for it

 

Lmaoooo at the snow angels on the ramp from MJF. Just masterful. Best AEW PPV in a long while. Everything felt like it fell on the card right where it should be, plus some interesting story beats.
