I'll be really curious what they do Wednesday now. Gotta imagine Ricky Starks is winning...and they took that off the PPV because it would have tipped off MJF/Regals heel move. But if Page won, there's obviously bad blood there, but it makes it harder to book MJF as a heel

From the Stokely/Firm side of things, thats an ROH or Dark/Elevation jobber squad mostly (Page aside), so it gave them more legitimacy than say, The Trustbusters or The Kingdom, because they had the association

As you asked me earlier about Saraya, what’s a memorable match of his that was actual good wrestling and not character work? I admit I haven’t seen any of his pre AEW stuff. Like I said, I like the guy. As a wrestler he’s good not great. As a character he’s one of the best. He doesn’t have to be a great wrestler to be a great champ. I’m glad he’s got the belt now.

 

I am sure the good brothers and judgment day will be involved in it

 

MJF is great in ring, I hate that because the style he works is more character and story based in matches makes people think he isn’t good in ring. Dude can put on fantastic matches.

 

Darby and MJF was tremendous at full gear last year! My MOTN and was the match that put him on the map as a great worker and the next great talent

 

It involves the Good Brothers most likely so it will probably be a lame attempt at a comedy match

I’ll have to go back and check it out again because I don’t remember it. I don’t remember Darby vs anyone that wasn’t Team Taz or Men of the Year

 

You can go back and watch any MLW or CZW match of MJF to see he can go in the ring. He was lighter on the character stuff then.

While the matches themselves have been average at best good brothers haven’t really done any comedy bits

This is actually one of the biggest travesty’s from
Tony. Aside from how he books the women half the time and subjecting us to ROH trash

 

The last thing I saw them doing was some recurring backstage bit where they kept getting kicked in the balls by Rhea so I just assumed that’s what the story was

 

Rhea does that to everyone

 

I hope he gets a chance to show that more.

 

I really really think FTRs lack of booking is so they can heal up
